Just wanted to reply briefly to your helpful post. After much research, I recently purchased an iAudio X5 digital audio player. The unit, which is very sturdy and moderately easy to use, holds approximately 60GB of files, and plays, among other formats, .wav's and .flac's. The sound quality is excellent. I highly recommend it to any audiophile seeking a top-end DAP with the capability of playing lossless audio files. Here's a link to the manufacturer's website: http://www.cowonamerica.com/. Here's an alternate link: http://www.cowonglobal.com/main.php.

I hope this information is apposite and useful. Best wishes.

Sincerely,
deadhead66
